劉道真少時，常漁草澤，善歌嘯，聞者莫不留連。有壹老嫗，識其非常人，甚樂其歌嘯，乃殺豚進之。道真食豚盡，了不謝。嫗見不飽，又進壹豚，食半余半，迺還之。後為吏部郎，嫗兒為小令史，道真超用之。不知所由，問母；母告之。於是賫牛酒詣道真，道真曰：“去！去！無可復用相報。”
